私は、東京都足立区出身です。そして現在、男の子と女の子2人の子供たちの母です。
学生時代より、子どもの言語習得について興味を持ち研究していましたが、自分自身が親となり子ども達の豊かな未来に必要なスキルと環境について考えたとき、当時足立区近郊にはグローバルな視野で物事を考え、国際教育を学べる環境がながったことをきっかけに、日本に住む子供たちのためのインターナショナルプリスクールとして、2007年2月にAloha International Preschoolを創立しました。時代は、常に変化しています。そして教育も、常に進化し向上し続けなければならないと思っています。私は、教育に関わる一員として責任をもち子ども達と共に学び続けたいと思っています。

My Background
I am from Adachi City, Tokyo, and a mother of two children, a boy and a girl.
I have been interested in and studied children’s language acquisition since I was a student, and when I became a parent myself and thought about what the necessary skills and environment are for my children’s prosperous future, I realized we did not have an environment near Adachi City where children can learn in an international education environment and achieve global vision.
This realization led me to establish Aloha International Preschool in February 2007 as an international preschool for children living in Japan. Time constantly changes, and I believe education must evolve and improve to keep up. As a responsible member of the educational community, I would like to continue to learn with the children.

趣味・特技

子ども達の元気な姿や笑顔を見て、もっと楽しい活動を考えること。また、身体を動かすことや運動も大好きです。私をご存知の方は、私がいつも動いているように思うかもしれません。週末は、我が家のマドンナ的存在のフレブルの女の子といっしょに、お出かけをしたり、くつろいだりすることが多いです。
特技は、寝ている間でも、いろいろなアイディアを夢の中で考えることができるので、寝てても起きた瞬間からアロハのお仕事ができます！

My Hobbies and Skills
I love seeing the smiles on the children’s faces and them being energetic, which motivates me to think of more fun activities.
I am also physically active and love to exercise. Those who know me may see me as who is constantly moving around.
On the weekends, I often go out and relax with my French bulldog, the star of our house.
My special skill is that I can come up with all sorts of ideas even while I’m dreaming in my sleep, so I can get to work for Aloha from the moment I wake up!

大学で英語を学び、長期休暇には、カナダ・オーストラリアに交換留学し、ホームステイをして，現地の学校で日本の文化を伝えたり、現地の文化を学んだりしました。

I’m from Saitama Prefecture.
I studied English at University. During my long vacation, I went to Canada and Australia and stayed with host families, teaching Japanese culture and learning about the local culture at a local school.

趣味・特技

水泳と書道を、小中高と続けていて今でも泳ぐこと書くことが好きです。
プライベートでは、子どもたちと海・山・川にキャンプに行くのが楽しみです。
他にもスポーツ観戦、美味しいものを食べること、お祭りや神社めぐり、他国の文化を体験することも好きです。

I like swimming and calligraphy.
I took swimming and calligraphy throughout elementary, middle, and high school.
Now, I’m looking forward to going camping with my kids to the sea, mountain, and rivers.
I also like watching sports, eating delicious food, going to festivals and shrines, and experiencing the cultures of other countries.

I like to exposed to English since when I was young, so I learned about English in college.
I want to tell to students how happy they can talk with foreigners who students can’t communicate until they started learn English, and how fun they experience other country’s cultures!

茶道が得意です！中学生～高校生時代の6年間茶道部に所属していました。他国の文化も好きですが抹茶、神社、お祭りなど日本の伝統文化も大好きです！
神社に行った際は必ずおみくじを引いちゃいます！

I’m good at doing a tea ceremony! I joined a tea ceremony club for 6years from junior high school student to high school student.
Of course, I like foreign country’s cultures, and I really like Japanese traditional culture, such as Matcha, Shrine, Japanese traditional festival!!
When I go to the shrine, I always draw a fortune!

I draw on my past experience of living and raising children in the U.S. and facing the children every day to nurture the ability of Aloha’s children to think from many different perspectives, to appreciate the beauty of each other’s differences and the wonders of understand and accept.
